This was the first gig Melys have played in Cardiff for 2 years, but it was worth the wait. Unfortunately I missed the beginning of the set after turning up late (doh!), but what I did see saw Melys back in true form, with Andie's high range vocals and the electro backing (and also a fifth member of the band!). They played a few songs from the new album, as well as old classics like Chinese Whispers. Melys played out with a storming extended version of Un Darllenwr Lwcus which was sheer brilliance!
